Itron

Itron, a leading technology provider and critical source of knowledge to the global energy and water industries, uses Alignent in both the hardware and software divisions. In the software division, Vision Strategist is employed to create provider roadmaps, allowing the organization to map its software to releases with other IT partner organizations, such as Microsoft and Oracle to ensure continuous operability with Itron's hardware. Johns Hopkins University

The Applied Physics Laboratory, a division of The Johns Hopkins University, is a not-for-profit research and development organization dedicated to solving complex problems that present critical challenges to the nation. The organization uses Alignent Software products in its efforts to support government agencies including the Department of Defense and NASA.

Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin, a global enterprise principally engaged in advanced technology systems, products and services, has standardized on Alignent to create a living technology planning document that minimizes information silos among the various communities within the organization. The company also uses roadmaps to reduce complexity issues and gain more visibility into the marketplace. Both Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company have standardized on Alignent for all of their diverse roadmapping needs.

Medtronic

Alignent currently serves two Medtronic divisions. The Medtronic Microelectronics Center's technology team relies on the solutions to develop capability and technology roadmaps that aid in the development of integrated circuits, foundry services and custom microelectronics. In the Cardiac Rhythm Management division, the organization creates roadmaps that aid in the development of new heart implant technologies.

Motorola

One of the first companies to adopt and popularize roadmaps, Motorola has standardized on Alignent's solutions to drive product planning efforts across distributed business units, customers and suppliers. Motorola relies on Alignent's collaborative solutions to create company-wide roadmaps and drive strategic planning activities.

NAVAIR

NAVAIR (Naval Air Systems Command) provides maritime combat power to the United States Navy and Marine Corps. NAVAIR relies on Alignent to track naval aviation technologies that encourage future investments, increase supplier collaboration and improve decision making. The organization uses Alignent software to align the industry and its agencies toward present and future naval aviation objectives.

The PRIME Faraday Partnership

The PRIME Faraday Partnership, the first of four Faraday Partnerships launched by the UK Government to assist industries throughout the UK, uses Alignent's solutions to create technology roadmaps that drive its technology watch, provide technical and market reports targeted at UK businesses and feed into the organization's long-term strategy. The Partnership focuses its skills on the design and development of Products with Interdependent Mechanical and Electronic parts (PRIME).

Sandia National Laboratories

Sandia National Laboratories, which partners with the United States Air Force and other branches of the military, relies on Alignent's roadmaps to drive technology developments for various national security projects through 2015 and beyond. The roadmaps provide the engineers at Sandia with a means to visualize technology evolution and plan for the future.

Textron

Textron, one of America's largest multi-industry companies, uses Alignent to create technology roadmaps and capabilities roadmaps, with the ultimate goal of linking product plans to the overall strategic plans formulated at the highest level. Alignent's solutions touch the entire organization, aligning the geographically dispersed divisions into a single planning system.

U.S. Air Force

The Air Force Flight Test Center, based out of Edwards Air Force Base in California, chose Alignent to create roadmaps that support its ground-and flight-test efforts. The Air Force uses roadmaps across technical disciplines to drive technical requirements and operational impacts, estimate long-term impacts of financial decisions, and to link program management processes with strategic vision.

U.S. Navy

The U.S. Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane Naval Base, relies on Alignent to create roadmaps from both a top-down and bottoms-up perspective. From the top-down perspective, roadmaps are used to establish baseline capabilities and map surface ship logistics and maintenance. From the bottoms-up perspective, roadmaps are developed to provide support to external customers. Alignent is the standard system for creating roadmaps across command and control, combat identification, solid state RF devices, wireless, electronic warfare, fuel cell development and directed energy weapons.

U.S. Special Operations Command

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), based out of MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, uses Alignent's solutions to create roadmaps to plan for future technological evolution. The USSOCOM uses Alignent to map future capabilities needed by the armed forces, and then to plan R&D development efforts to meet those criteria.
