Alignent Software Appoints Max Hill as Vice President of Sales

Seasoned former Oracle executive to lead Alignent's North American sales division

Carlsbad, California - June 16, 2006 - Alignent Software, the leading provider of collaborative roadmapping solutions, today announced the appointment of Max Hill as Vice President of Sales for North America. With almost two decades of experience in software sales and sales management, Mr. Hill most recently led Alignent's Aerospace & Defense industry practice as Vice President of this sector, and will continue to drive the growth of the sales team as Vice President for the company's North American division.

Since joining Alignent in 2004, Mr. Hill has been a major contributor in the company's continued acceleration, leading the sales team to grow its 2005 revenues nearly 300% over 2004. Mr. Hill consistently built up Alignent's A&D practice as Vice President of A&D with his significant A&D domain experience, having worked in engineering capacities at leading companies such as Boeing, General Dynamics and Loral.

Prior to joining Alignent, Mr. Hill led Oracle Corporation's Strategic Accounts Sales organization as West Area Director after attaining over $100 million in applications software sales and consistently exceeding annual revenues goals as an Account Manager. Prior to his career at Oracle, Mr. Hill held Sales Management positions with top suppliers in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Design Engineering software fields. Mr. Hill holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington.
